RAITE — AI Assessment for Modern Hiring

You are more
than a digital product

RAITE measures AI methodology — proving that human judgment still separates good from great

Using AI is trivial. Thinking with it is not

What RAITE measures
AI as methodology — not tool skills
How you diagnose, decide, and iterate with AI in the loop — in real scenarios, across communication and marketing strategy.
Why it matters
With AI, the difference between good and great candidates has become invisible
Employers need a new signal. Not whether you use the tools — but how you think with them. Communication carries context, subtext, and circumstances AI easily misreads. RAITE measures whether you do.
For you
More than your resume
RAITE gives you a verifiable proof of your human qualities in AI-assisted work — a real, trustworthy signal in the hiring process.

Who it's for

For professionals who work with communication and AI — and know the difference between generating output and actually thinking

When every AI-generated resume says the same thing — RAITE is here to measure what makes you different

RAITE measures your human qualities in AI assisted work — how you think, decide, and communicate when AI is part of the process. Together with AI. Not against it.

Because you are more than a digital product

Marketing
Marketing
For professionals who own go-to-market strategy, channel management, product marketing, or growth. Assessed on business diagnosis, prioritisation under constraint, and how you navigate organisational complexity — with AI as a working methodology, not a shortcut.
Communications
Communications
For professionals who own brand communication, messaging strategy, PR, or internal communication. Communication carries context, subtext, and circumstances that AI easily misreads. Assessed on whether you can read what's between the lines — and whether you know when AI missed the point entirely.
What RAITE measures

Five dimensions. One honest profile

Every case is scored across the same five dimensions. Questions vary by role. The measurement does not.

How it works

Everything you need to know before you start

RAITE is designed to be unsurprising. Here is exactly what happens — from payment to scorecard.

The process

01

Select your track

Marketing or Communications. Your track determines which cases you receive and how responses are weighted. Choose the track that reflects your actual work.

02

Complete two cases

Two cases randomly selected from a library of three per track. Moments unlock sequentially — you cannot skip ahead. The ability to update your reasoning when new information arrives is part of what we measure.

03

Use AI freely — and document it

AI is encouraged throughout. After each moment, you state whether you used AI. If yes, paste your prompt and the response received. What you took from it and what you discarded is part of the assessment.

04

Scoring by a practitioner-built system

Your responses are scored against a rubric built and validated by senior professionals in marketing and communications — not by HR generalists or algorithm designers.

05

Receive your scorecard

A detailed profile across five dimensions with percentage scores and written motivations. A shareable link for your LinkedIn profile or to send directly to employers. Your raw responses are never shared.

The six moments

Moment 1
Diagnosis
What is actually wrong here — and what makes you confident? Name your hypothesis, your evidence, and what you are ruling out.
Moment 2
AI resistance
RAITE presents an AI-generated analysis of the same situation. Where do you agree? Where do you disagree — and why?
Moment 3
Decision & production
Build your plan and produce a concrete deliverable — concrete enough to act on without asking you again.
Moment 4
New information
New information arrives that changes the picture. Your earlier answers are now locked. Does this change your diagnosis?
Moment 5
Communication
Communicate your position to a specific stakeholder. Take a position. Handle what is uncomfortable.
Moment 6
Feedback loop
The plan is in motion. It is not working as expected. Does your strategy have a built-in feedback loop?

Structured reasoning — Exceptional
The candidate demonstrates a consistently logical movement from observation to conclusion across both cases. The 30-day plan is sequenced with explicit reasoning — what to pause first, why, and what signal would trigger the next decision. The plan has a built-in feedback loop. The prioritisation document forces a genuine choice rather than listing everything, naming what they are giving up and why that is an acceptable trade.
AI collaboration — Competent
AI was used in moments 1 and 3. The prompts show AI was consulted before the candidate had formed a clear hypothesis. The response was taken largely as given without critical evaluation. The brief produced with AI assistance is structurally sound but generic — the specific organisational context visible in the scenario is not reflected in the output.

Methodology

Built by practitioners. Measured by those who do this work

The RAITE assessment framework was designed by senior professionals in marketing and communications — not by HR generalists or algorithm designers. Every scenario, every rubric level, every dimension reflects what actually separates strong from exceptional in real work environments.

The senior-to-director gap

RAITE does not test marketing or communications knowledge. It tests whether you think at director level — in situations that require more than technical competence.

"Seniors solve the problem as defined. Directors question whether the right problem is defined. RAITE is designed to make that distinction visible"

The five levels

Exceptional
90–100%
Sees something others miss. Questions the premise rather than just answering the question.
Strong
70–89%
Consistently correct reasoning with genuine structure. Adds something beyond the obvious.
Competent
50–69%
Correct but predictable. Follows the logic without an independent move.
Developing
25–49%
Identifies the problem but misses the root cause or loses the thread.
Weak
0–24%
No critical engagement. AI output accepted without evaluation.

The assessment process

Stage one
Independent scoring
Two assessors score the same responses independently, using the same rubric. Neither sees the other's scores before completing their own.
Stage two
Calibration
Scores are compared. Where assessors diverge by more than one level on any dimension, a third review is conducted. The calibration is documented.
Stage three
Final profile
The final score and written motivation are set. The motivation must cite specific evidence from the candidate's responses.

EU AI Act compliance

The EU AI Act classifies AI used in recruitment decisions as high-risk. RAITE is designed to comply from the outset.

Requirement
How RAITE meets it

Transparency — candidates must know they are assessed by AI

Disclosed at onboarding. Methodology published. No hidden scoring.

Explainability — candidates must be able to get an explanation

Written motivation per dimension included in every scorecard.

Fairness — documented controls against discriminatory outcomes

Inter-rater reliability measured and documented. Bias audits conducted on benchmark data.

Frequently asked questions

Honest answers to common questions

About the assessment
How long does it take?+
Most candidates complete the assessment in 90–110 minutes. There is no time limit. You can take breaks between moments — your progress is saved automatically.
Which track should I choose?+
Choose the track that best reflects your actual work. If your work is primarily about messaging, brand, and how organisations communicate, choose Communications. If it is primarily about market strategy, channels, and growth, choose Marketing.
Can I retake the assessment?+
Yes. You can retake at full price at any time. Each retake uses different cases from the library.
Can I take breaks during the assessment?+
Yes — your answers are saved automatically. We recommend completing each case in one session for the most authentic assessment, but there is no rule against pausing.
About AI use
Can I use AI during the assessment?+
Yes — and it is encouraged. RAITE is specifically designed to measure how you work with AI, not whether you can work without it. After each moment, you state whether you used AI. If yes, paste your prompt and the response received.
What if I don't use AI at all?+
That is a legitimate choice and can result in a strong score. In some moments, the better decision is not to use AI — and recognising that is part of what we measure.
Can I just paste the entire case into AI and submit the response?+
You can try. But the assessment is designed to make this obvious and unrewarding. The AI resistance moment requires you to critically evaluate a different AI response. The data injection locks your earlier answers and requires real-time updating. The written motivation from the assessor will clearly reflect whether your responses show genuine engagement.
About scoring and results
Who reviews my responses?+
Your responses are scored against a rubric built and validated by senior professionals in marketing and communications. Two assessors review every assessment independently and calibrate before a final profile is set.
How is the score calculated?+
Each dimension is scored at one of five levels — Exceptional (90–100%), Strong (70–89%), Competent (50–69%), Developing (25–49%), or Weak (0–24%). Dimensions are weighted differently per track. The full methodology and weightings are published on the methodology page.
How do I share my scorecard?+
You receive a shareable link with your scorecard that you can add to your LinkedIn profile or email to employers. Your raw responses are never visible through the shared link.
About the purchase
What if I have a technical issue during the assessment?+
If you experience any technical issues that prevent you from completing the assessment, contact hello@raite.io with your order reference and we will resolve it promptly. Your answers are saved automatically so you will not lose your progress.
Do you offer team or corporate pricing?+
Yes. Team assessments are available from 10 people upward, with a team benchmark report included. Pricing from €750 per cohort. Contact hello@raite.io for details.
Can recruiters see my full answers?+
No. Recruiters see your profile — dimension scores, written motivations, and benchmark position. They do not see your raw responses or the prompts you used.
